What ER Blood keeps about you, and why
This page says which details about people ER Blood holds, where they came from, what they are used for, and how to object or have them deleted. Last changed on 13 October 2026.
Who we are
ER Blood is run by Makestry Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 10022959. Registered office: Flat 1 12 Guilford Street, London, WC1N 1DT.
Makestry Ltd decides what is kept and what it is used for, and answers for it. The law calls that the controller.

If we wrote to you first
You can object at any time. Reply "no" to the message, or write to hello@erblood.com, and we stop writing to you.
- Where your address came from
- A public page of your organisation's own website. Where the address names a person, we record that page and the day we read it, and you can ask us which page it was.
- What we hold
- Your organisation's name and website. The work address we wrote to. Your first name, if that page gave it. One sentence about your organisation's work, read on its site. The messages we sent, and your reply if there was one.
- Why
- To offer ER Blood to organisations it may fit, and to avoid writing to the same organisation twice. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in offering the service to organisations like yours.
- Who handles it
- It is not sold, and nobody is given it for their own use. It is handled for us by a sending service that delivers the messages, a mail service, a service where we record which organisations we have written to, the company that hosts this site, and the provider of the software we work with.
- How long
- No fixed date ends it. It is kept until you ask us to delete it.
- After a no
- We keep your address, your organisation's name and the fact that you said no, so that no business run by Makestry Ltd writes to that address again.
If you sent us your steps
- What we keep
- When we work on a message that describes your steps, we keep a copy of it as it arrived, with the day it came. We also keep what we make from it: your steps set out in order, a page that quotes your words, and the notes made when that page was checked before sending. These are in our own files, beside the copy of your message that the mail service holds.
- Why
- To make that page for you.
- Who handles it
- A page that is sent goes to the address your message came from, and to no other. On its way it waits with the company that hosts this site, for a day at most. It is not sold, and nobody is given it for their own use. The services named under "If you wrote to us" handle it for us.
- How long
- No fixed date ends our own copies. They are kept until you ask us to delete them. To ask, write to hello@erblood.com. A line in our record of the work stays: our reference for your message, the day it came, the day a page was due, the day it was sent and its length. It holds no name, no address and none of your words.
If you wrote to us
A message to hello@erblood.com is kept so that we can answer it and work on what you wrote about. We hold your address, what you wrote and what we answered.
It is not sold, and nobody is given it for their own use. It is handled for us by a mail service that receives and holds it, the company that hosts this site, and the provider of the software we work with.
The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering mail that people choose to send us. No fixed date ends it. It is kept until you ask us to delete it.
Visiting this site
This site sets no cookies and runs no script in your browser.
The company that hosts it counts the requests it serves: the day and hour, the page asked for, the country, the kind of device, the operating system and the browser family. We read those counts to see whether a page is being found. They do not say who you are.
Like any web server, the host receives the internet address each request comes from. We do not read it and we do not keep it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or limit what we do with it. You can object to our using it at all.
Write to hello@erblood.com and say which.
If you think we have handled your details wrongly, you can complain to us at that address, and to the Information Commissioner's Office, the United Kingdom's regulator for data protection (ico.org.uk). If you live in the European Union, you can complain to the data protection authority of your own country.
